World Leading Times Dominate Polish Indoor And Injury Scare For Kim Collins

The rain of fast race descended on Poland in the Copernicus Cup; indoor Athletics on Friday{10}. Ronnie Baker made a mincing of the whole strong 60m field to post a commanding 6.46s to  show he’s not a two times NCAA champion for a fluke. He was followed by rising star of Britain-Chijindu Ujah with 6.56s and inform Ghanaian Sean Safo clocking 6.57s. In the 400m, the former two times World Indoor Champion Pavel Maslak was left gasping for breath by Grenadian strong man-Bralon Tapin who stopped the clock at a World leading time of 45.59s. Pavel managed a second position with a second fasted time of the year-45.80s.

The 1500m women was more interesting with the record holder chasing her own record but was hamstrung by inept pace setter. GenZebe Dibaba reeling from 2000m record breaking form in Sabadel Spain last Tuesday; managed to run a World leading time of 3.58.80s. The home girl in the 800m also smashed 2 minutes barrier by running World leading time of 1.59.29s.

Elsewhere, the most informed 60m of this season-Kim Collins was disqualified on Thursday night in Paris after a very impressive reserve in the tank  run in the semfianl with a time of 6.58s. But in the final, he mystriously jumped the gun. The action most close athletics watcher believed was intentional to protect something; probable-injury.
